What i’m for

As an outspoken Kalispell City Council member for nearly six years, I’ve consistently advocated for fair & responsible growth.

I’ve pushed or voted for:

  • Proactively addressing our housing & homelessness crisis
  • Tighter controls on short-term vacation rentals
  • Safe streets & walkable neighborhoods for all
  • Removing harmful water toxins like lead & PFAS
  • Responsible budgets supportive of our first responders

What i’m Against

It’s equally important what I’ve spoken up against.

I’ve also firmly voted against:

  • Unnecessary public subsidies for private development – developers must pay their
    fair share!
  • Developments that sprawl into our rural areas or encroach on river and wetland habitat 
  • Transportation plans that favor fast thru traffic over livable neighborhoods.

Our children should be able to afford to live here, and we must manage our growth in a way that strengthens the community we all love. As Mayor, I will listen to you and with your support, I’ll bring fresh, responsive leadership to address the challenges and opportunities facing Kalispell.

About me

I work at Flathead Land Trust to protect our wildlife habitat, clean water, family farms and beautiful open spaces through community conservation. I’ve worked with the Collaborative Housing Solutions partnership to address our housing and homelessness crisis and the Flathead Trails Association to promote local trails. I previously served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Slovakia, working to steer international financing toward local and sustainable economic opportunities. I have a degree in Urban Planning and professional experience in affordable housing and community planning, providing me with valuable knowledge to creatively address Kalispell’s growth issues.

Like many who live here, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family and believe Kalispell is a wonderful place to live and raise children.
